Vintage 18 piece set of 6 stainless steel cocktail forks, 6 party forks & 6 cold drink spoons made by Imperial USA. Each box comes with its own MCM description.
Used as customer gifts by Precision Sheet Metal & Mfg. Co. Inc. on Hillside Ave. in Indianapolis, IN.
These sets were apparently produced by various steel manufacturers to give customers appreciation gifts. The stainless is ultra shiny! Ephemera states the stainless is “a special formula stainless steel that has the lustrous mirror finish of Sterling, yet will never tarnish...Finish will retain its lustre for years.” And it has! My research teaches that Remelon is the name for the plastic, floral cases. Remelon was patented. Cases need a good cleaning, but are durable and in tact! The boxes have noticeable condition issues but do not detract from the set. This might be Imperial Paula pattern (?)
