Vintage, rare book about the Rossettis, especially Dante Gabriel, and Christina. (Read below)

Written by Elisabeth Luther Carver.

The book has many illustrations. They are on a separate page and covered by a blank sheet of linen type paper.

The copyright is 1900 from London, U. K.

Gabriele Rossetti, a political refugee from Italy, and his wife, Frances Polidori Rossetti, had four children.

All four children became famous in the arts during the era of Romanticism—Maria Francesca (1827–76), as a writer; Dante Gabriel (1828–82), as a poet and painter; William Michael (1829–1919), as a critic; and Christina (1830–94), as a poet.

Of the four, Dante Gabriel and Christina are the best known.

Dante Gabriel Rossetti, was an English poet, illustrator, painter and translator. He founded the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood in 1848.

Christina Georgina Rossetti, one of the most important women poets writing in nineteenth-century England.
